Camilo Restrepo has had an artistic career spanning over 25 years, although he initially studied Mechanical Engineering. However, his path toward art began purely by chance during a trip through South America in 1995, when he fell in love with photography. The first body of work he sold was acquired by the University of Antioquia Museum in 2002, a series of photos titled Specters, Chronographs of Identity.
