Alias exists simultaneously as a physical archive and digital collection.
The original drawings remain intact as a single physical body of work, held by the artist, Camilo Restrepo, and stewarded for exhibition in institutions and galleries. This physical collection is not for sale and is preserved as a unified archive so it may continue to circulate publicly through exhibitions and maintain institutional recognition.
By transforming the collection into NFTs, the physical archive was kept whole, allowing the work to live, travel, and be seen without fragmentation.
If the physical collection were ever to change hands in the future, it would do so only in direct relationship to the corresponding digital holder. There is no mechanism by which the physical works can be sold separately, divided, or extracted from their digital counterpart.
